Description

Projects in Analysis in Social Computing explores the role of computers and digital systems in everyday social environments.

Working with Geoffrey C. Bowker, Roderic Crooks, and Matthew Bietz, I supported students as a teaching assistant in designing short ethnographic projects that investigate computing in diverse social settings—from food trucks to K–12 classrooms. Students employed methods such as participant observation, document analysis, and the development of prototype design interventions informed by their research.
