Environmental Injustice is a lower-division undergraduate course offered by the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Irvine.
Taught with Kim Fortun, the course introduces students to environmental justice research through hands-on case study work. Students investigate environmental injustice in diverse communities across California and produce case studies documenting how pollution, infrastructure, governance, and community advocacy intersect.
